Strong winds may gust over 40 mph at times through this afternoon, then the wind will diminish this evening. Otherwise, it will be partly to mostly cloudy and milder with highs in the lower 60s.
Quiet and sunny Saturday with highs in the lower 60s, then 70s and dry Sunday.
A strong cold front will blow through late Sunday night with strong thunderstorms likely. Damaging wind gusts possible. The Storm Prediction Center already has our area under levels 2 and 3 out of the 5 severe risk categories.
Then, colder air races in with light snow showers Monday.
A very cold start next week with wind chills in the single digits Tuesday morning. Gradually warming back up as we head toward our first day of spring next Friday.
