Your Article featuring the Culbertson Mansion was a great view into the finest example of a Victorian era mansion in Indiana and maybe the Midwest. Just think, in the 70’s plans were in place to tear it down for a gas station, what a great lose that would have been.
I finished my first job there in 1990 and have been very fortunate to have been involved in all the restoration of the decorative plaster as well as the flat work since.
Your article will help keep this Grand Lady open for years to come. Great Article!!!!
How about having copies available at the YMCA in Jeef?
Hi Bernie. We will get copies to the Jeff YMCA — if not for this current issue — for our Oct/Nov 2015 Extol. Thank you for your interest in Extol.

On Thursday, March 10, Leadership Southern Indiana’s Emerging Leaders (under-40 group) will be hosting a unique opportunity for a night-out at Derby Dinner Playhouse, a Southern Indiana gem. Featuring Tony-award-winning Into the Woods that became a motion picture in 2014, the Derby Dinner Into the Woods event starts at 5:30 with a cocktail sampler sponsored by Brown-Forman, followed by dinner at 6:30 and the show at 7:45. Featuring fairy-tale-themed cocktails, Little Red Riding Hood and Into the Forest, this event is perfect for girls’-night-out, a date night, or just to break up the week!
The flat-rate cost of $20 includes two cocktails, dinner and the show! Keep in mind, this isn’t your typical young-professional networking event: it’s an entire evening of networking coupled with inspired cocktails, good food, and great entertainment! To make your reservation, call Derby Dinner at 812-288-8281, and mention Emerging Leaders for the discounted ticket price!
Emerging Leaders is a young professional networkshop group of Leadership Southern Indiana that engages the youngest working generation in events to connect them to local professionals, executives, and businesses to build a better present and future in Southern Indiana.

I didn’t know this magazine existed until I picked up a copy of “Today’s Woman.” I’m impressed and look forward to reading it on a regular basis.
