On April 25, 2026 Purdue Extension Floyd County and Sunnyside Master Gardeners will host the 11th Annual Pollinator Day. This free, family-friendly event will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the lawn of the Purdue Research Park of Southeast Indiana (3000 Technology Ave., New Albany, IN 47150), weather permitting.
Classes will be held on Prescribed Burns for Habitat Development and Pollinator Pocket Gardens.
Other activities include booths on Native Bees, Butterflies, Pollinators and Our Food Supply, Hummingbirds, Native Plants, Planting for Pollinators, Beeswax Lip Balm, a Pollinator Selfie Booth, Pollinator Games and much more.
Local vendors, including food trucks will be onsite with pollinator related merchandise. Please plan accordingly as there is no ATM on site.
