Be ready for some soupy, swampy, sweaty, sizzling, sweltering, scorching weather conditions for today and tomorrow! Thankfully, this little heat wave won’t last long as a cool front will move through Friday morning bringing some relief into the weekend.
Highs today will be in the lower 90s, with the heat index climbing to around 100°. Many of us are used to this kind of heat just yet, so stay hydrated and take breaks if working or playing outdoors. Southwest winds at 5-15 mph.
It’s a repeat for Thursday with the same kind of heat and humidity and mainly dry conditions.
As the front moves through Friday morning we may pick up a few morning showers, but we’ll stay mainly dry through Saturday. The humidity won’t be as high Friday and Saturday, with near normal highs in the 80s.
A system will bring back higher rain chances Sunday into Monday and we could have cooler conditions arrive early next week! High may drop to the upper 70s by Tuesday.
Today’s weather history, countdown, and jokes.
