The last time we hit 100° was a couple years ago, August 2024, and we’ll get close the next couple of days. So, no surprise we continue to have a Heat Advisory through Friday. Continue to take all precautions to avoid heat exhaustion.
High temperatures will stay in the mid-upper 90s through Friday, with the heat index around 100° to 105°. An isolated shower is possible Friday, but our best chance of any showers or storms will arrive with a very weak front Saturday. Otherwise, we’ll stay mostly dry through much of next week.
It’s just a little relief with highs back down to around 90° through our Labor Day Weekend. Some of the weather models are hinting at bigger relief possible around mid-September.
Here’s today’s weather history, countdown, and jokes.
