A weak cold front is bringing scattered showers to the area through early afternoon, then most will begin to dry out by mid-afternoon. Rainfall totals will generally be light with at around 1/4″. Heavier rain and a few strong storms will be possible off to the south, especially east of I-65 and south of the Bluegrass Parkway in Kentucky.



Otherwise, today will be mild and breezy with highs in the mid-60s, and gusty winds from the southwest at 10-20 mph. Clearing and cooler tonight.


We have huge changes on the way this weekend! Saturday will be quiet and mild in the 60s before the polar front moves through the region late Saturday night. Temperatures crash Sunday with highs in the upper 30s and low 40s, with much colder wind chills. Sunday will also be breezy with north winds at 15-30 mph.
Temperatures will tumble to the 20s Sunday and Monday night with wind chills in the teens.


We may also see our first flurries of the season late Sunday into early Monday.
Warming right back up by the middle of next week.
