A strong cold front will be moving through Tuesday with the potential of strong to severe storms. Timing is not 100% certain, but a round of two will be possible midday and through the afternoon. Damaging straight-line winds will be the main threat, but we can’t rule out an isolated tornado. Stay extra weather aware Tuesday and be prepared to seek shelter if warnings are issued.
Today will simply be very muggy and most dry. An isolated pop-up shower possible, but most locations will stay dry with highs near 90°. The heat index at 95° to 100°. A light southwest wind at 5-10 mph.
The good news this week is that relief is still on tap for Wednesday through Friday with highs in the lower 80s and lower humidity! Temperatures will start to warm back up through this weekend.
