A stationary front is hung up around the region and will give us a few waves of showers and thunderstorms through Saturday.
A few pop-up showers and storms will be possible today, but we’ll also have plenty of dry time. It’s going to be a bit humid, mostly cloudy, with highs in the lower to mid-80s. Southwest wind at 5-10 mph.

Looking ahead, our mornings and early afternoons are looking mostly dry Friday and Saturday. The disturbances that kick up the showers and storms will likely move through late in the day/evening Friday and Saturday. Rainfall totals of 1-2″ possible. The severe weather threat is low.

Most of the rain will be gone by early Sunday. We’ll have some more rain chances Monday, before trending dry by next Tuesday. While the rain and storm chances could be a nuisance from time to time, it’s not a bad thing to keep some rain chances around for our yards, gardens and farm fields.
