The rest of January and into February will stay very cold with below freezing temperatures. We have a Cold Weather Advisory today and an Extreme Cold Warning tonight with sub-zero wind chills. Wind chills could drop to the minus teens overnight and early Tuesday morning.

We may end up with 11 or more days below freezing which could put us in the top ten for longest cold spells.

High temperatures will stay in the teens and 20s all week and this weekend with lows in the single digits. We’ll have occasional batches of light snow and flurries, but no significant accumulation.

Stay warm! -Meteorologist Ben Peine
