The hazy, hot, and humid weather will continue this week, however, we may occasionally get a chance of showers and storms. Through Tuesday, most of the storms will be tracking just to the north and northeast, but close enough to keep an eye on for parts of S. Indiana.
Today will be mostly dry (storm chance mainly north) and very hot and humid with highs in the 90s, and the heat index up around 100°. Southwest wind at 5-15 mph.
By Wednesday our chance of showers and thunderstorms will increase with rounds of storms possible off and on through Friday. Overall it will be drier this week southwest of Louisville, and wetter to the north. So far, this weekend is simply looking hot and dry. Storms could be strong with gusty wind and heavy rain. Not much relief in sight so far.
