Our first week of February will be fairly quiet and we’ll finally feel above freezing temperatures!
For today, expect a mostly cloudy sky with temperatures reaching the mid-30s. The first time above freezing in 11 days. A light southwest wind at 5-10 mph. Not as cold tonight with lows in the upper 20s.

A rain/snow wintry mix will develop Tuesday. This could start as some light snow/flurries in Southern Indiana in the morning, then most of the precipitation will fall during the afternoon. Areas along and north of I-64 have the best chance of light wet snowfall accumulations of around 1″ or less. Temperatures will be above freezing, so minimal impacts are expected. The wintry mix will taper off Tuesday evening.

We’re left with mostly dry conditions for the rest of the week. The Groundhog did see his shadow, so folklore says six more weeks of winter.

Here’s today weather history, countdown, and jokes.
