After a busy overnight with tornado, severe thunderstorm, and flash flood warnings – much of today will be dry, except for areas south of Louisville where the front is parked today. Much of the area will have plenty of dry time today, but expect showers to return over much of the area by early evening.
So for most of us, expect highs in the low-mid 80s with a southwest wind at 10-20 mph. Now, if you live around the Parkways in Kentucky, you can expect more showers and storms and potential flooding concerns.
The front will move south early Friday and leave us with dry and pleasant conditions and lower humidity for Friday and Saturday.
Unfortunately, the next system will bring rain chances again for Father’s Day afternoon into Monday.
Today’s weather history, countdown, and jokes.
