Our weather pattern will stay muggy this week, but also it’s becoming unsettled today with rounds of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce locally heavy tropical-like downpours, so Flash Flooding is possible. This is why we have a Flood Watch for our region through 8 PM Tuesday. The severe weather threat will stay low.
Other than the rain, it will be warm and humid in the 80s today and Tuesday. A south breeze at 5-10 mph.
Turning hotter and drier Wednesday and Thursday with the heat index at 90° to 100°.
It’s a summer-like pattern through the rest of this week and weekend with a few pop-up showers and storms possible.
Here’s today’s weather history, countdown, and jokes.
