A cut-off upper-level low pressure system will stay parked over our region through Thursday keeping scattered showers in the forecast.
We are hoping for “some” drier time for our Derby afternoon, so not a washout today. It will stay cloudy and cool, with steady temperatures in the lower to mid-60s. Temperatures will be trending 10-15 degrees below normal over the next few days. So, you may not only want to keep the rain gear handy, but also the warmer clothes.

Spotty showers will continue tonight with cool temperatures in the upper 40s and low 50s. North winds at 5-10 mph.

The stacked upper-level low pressure system that will keep on and off rain showers around through Monday, is expected to finally move to the east by Tuesday, so that’s when a drier outlook should begin.

Temperatures will stay quite cool through Monday, then gradually start to head back to normal with lower to mid-70s by the middle and end of next week.
The next slow-moving upper-level low pressure system we hope will stay mainly to our southwest next week, keeping out skies mainly dry next Tuesday through Sunday.
