A front will move through later today and this evening with one more batch of showers and thunderstorms, then a dry pattern begins Thursday.
Much of today will be warm, humid, and dry with highs in the lower 80s. A southwest breeze at 5-15 mph. As we head toward late afternoon and especially this evening a round of showers and storms will be approaching from the northwest.
There is a Flood Watch until late tonight for areas east of I-65 and north of I-64 where localized flooding is possible.
Thankfully, a dry weather pattern begins Thursday as the front slides just off to the southwest. We’re expecting plenty of sunshine through our last weekend of May and as we head into our first week of June! Highs will stay steady in the upper 70s and low 80s with a bit less humidity.
Today’s weather history, countdown, and jokes.
