Rounds of showers and storms will continue through this afternoon, with some warnings possible. There is a Tornado Watch for areas along and north of the Ohio River until Noon. While the overall tornado threat is low, a quick spin-up can’t be ruled out. Isolated damaging wind gusts are the main threat, along with the possibility of hail, heavy rain/flooding, and frequent lightning. Seek shelter if a warning is issued.
The Storm Prediction Center has our region under Level 2 (Slight Risk) of the 5 severe risk categories. The tornado threat is higher for areas to our east/northeast and southwest later today.

Other than the storms, it will be warm and windy today with highs in the 70s. A WIND ADVISORY until 7 PM. Wind gusts to 40 mph.
Drying out and chilly tonight with lows in the 30s, wind chills in the 20s. Sunshine returns tomorrow with highs around 50°, with lighter northwest winds.
We’re back to the lower 60s Friday and Saturday and looking great for the St. Patrick’s Parade Saturday afternoon. Rain chances return late Sunday and could transition to light snow showers early Monday. Chillier conditions for much of next week. Winter is not over just yet!
