A winter feel has arrived for our Thanksgiving holiday and Old Man Winter will be visiting for a while! Cold and windy behind the cold front today with falling temperatures. Expect highs in the upper 30s and low 40s, with wind gusts up to 35 mph. Wind chills in the upper 20s and low 30s! Brrr…!!!

Thanksgiving will simply be cold and sunny. Highs near 40°, with 10-20 mph winds. Wind chills in the upper 20s.

Our next system could bring first some light snow late Saturday, then transitioning to rainfall into Sunday morning. No significant accumulation expected if we get some snow.
Our weather pattern will stay cold through the long-range outlook, with perhaps more snow possibilities next Tuesday.

Have a happy Thanksgiving! -Meteorologist Ben Peine
