We have changes on the way this weekend with a much-needed chance of showers and storms Saturday, then a big warm-up Sunday.

Today will be mostly dry with a just a few light rain showers possible over parts of S. Indiana around midday. Otherwise, it will be partly cloudy and mild with highs in the 70s. A south breeze at 5-10 mph. Increasing clouds tonight with showers possible overnight.

As moisture increases across the area and a warm front moves through we’ll have scattered showers and thunderstorms throughout the day Saturday with some possibly lingering into Saturday evening. Our area is still too dry, so we’ll take the raindrops. Plan on grabbing some rain gear if you have outdoor plans.

Temperatures rise and you’ll notice the higher humidity on Sunday in the upper 80s. Our first 90° temperatures likely on Monday.
More rain chances return next Tuesday into Wednesday.
