The Extreme Heat Warning continues across the region through Thursday with highs well into the 90s, and the heat index well over 100°. Do all you can do to keep cool! Check on the elderly, neighbors, and pets – if working outside, seek shade, take water breaks. Wear light weight, light colored clothing. Enjoy the A/C!
Only a small change for this weekend as the ridge of high pressure responsible for this heat wave weakens a bit, we’ll have a chance for hit-or-miss pop-up afternoon showers and storms – which could provide a little relief. Otherwise, it’s still going to be hot and humid for our Fourth of July Weekend.
Today’s weather history, countdown, and jokes.
