Karl Truman Law Office and Extol Magazine hosted A Veterans Day Celebration Nov. 11 at Sam’s at the Montrose in Clarksville. Guests were greeted by Jeanine and Karl Truman – who not only advocates for veterans but is a veteran himself – with a red carpet welcome and gift bags. Taste Fine Wines and Bourbons and Old 502 Winery treated attendees to bourbon and wine tastings. A trio from Ladies for Liberty performed a number of patriotic songs before local legend Hugh E. Bir took over. Proceeds and a portion of Sam’s sales during the event benefitted Honor Flight Bluegrass Chapter.
