Much Ado About All Things Wedding
Laurie Haag offers a one-stop, beautiful shop for brides-to-be at Eventful 203
Laurie Haag is used to juggling all things wedding, which is why she opened Eventful 203, a one-stop shop in downtown New Albany.
“Eventful 203 is an event planning complex that also houses Laurel Wreath Bridal and the Laurel & Lavender Beauty Lounge. It’s a cool concept of a vendor network system,” Haag explained.
At Eventful 203, brides-to-be can shop the latest and greatest – and rare finds, too – in wedding dresses and accessories from Laurel Wreath Bridal. But – wait! – there’s more.
“At Eventful 203 we also have Laurel & Lavender Beauty Lounge,” said Haag, “which allows our brides the ability to get ready and spaces for the most gorgeous pictures and ease. Sometimes, your favorite salon is too crowded or the venue is, so you can get ready there. Instead of a hotel suite, Laurel & Lavender Beauty Lounge is big, it’s open and it’s structured but much posher. We are high elegance in downtown New Albany. Photographers love it. We offer event planning and the ability to get ready for the most gorgeous pictures – and ease.”
At Laurel Wreath Bridal, “the girls can purchase their gowns and get personalized styling, one on one, for you and your entourage. It’s personal and upscale with a very small-town feel. I’m almost like an extension of your mother,” Haag admitted.
If that doesn’t take the cake, Haag also owns The Loft on Spring, an event and wedding venue. “I know what moms are going through and what the (brides) are going through. In all of what I have to offer, we are high-end and super welcoming.”
