PRESS RELEASE | Danger Run 2016 Season

Danger Run 2016 Up and Running – and Ready For You

“Danger Run: The Most Fun You’ve Ever Had In Your Car” – and our country’s only haunted road rally – is back again this season with a brand new twist: Choose your fate.

The Danger Run is Louisville’s longtime scavenger hunt-style Halloween game where participants solve clues to navigate dark and spooky roads to two of Louisville’s scariest haunts. For the first time, Danger Run is letting runners choose between the traditional run where participants are surprised with two of the area’s top haunted attractions, or they can select which two haunts of four that are offered they would most like to include in their game. Now, it’s the most customizable Danger Run ever.

The fun of the game remains with clue-solving crews driving predetermined courses to find their favorite scary places armed only with their clue books and their wits. Once again our sponsors, the good people of Speedway, are providing $10 in free gas for every carload of 4 people (or more) who make the run, plus free Blizzards from DQ to sweeten the trip. Other goodies from Domino’s, your clue books and choosing which haunts runners would like to include can all be collected at one of three start gates: Lowes locations on Hurstbourne Pkwy., Dixie Hwy or Veteran’s Parkway in Clarksville. You can even register online and practice with a virtual run at www.dangerrun.com.

The Danger Run runs every Friday and Saturday night through Halloween with gates open from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. Tickets acquired are valid any night your chosen haunt is operating. This Halloween happening is unique to our community; there is not another one in the world.
