We’re starting to heat up across Southern Indiana and Kentucky over the next several days. The humidity won’t be too bad today, but will becoming tropical this weekend.
We will have a lot of sunshine today, but it will still be a bit hazy due to the Canadian wildfire smoke drifting over the region over the last couple of days.

Sunny and very warm today in the mid-upper 80s, very light breeze from the southwest at 5 mph. Clear, calm, mild tonight, lows in the mid-60s.

More sunshine and upper 80s tomorrow.
Friday should offer plenty of dry time, but some models have some pop-up showers/storms by late day, especially west of I-65, so we’ll need to keep an eye on that.
Muggy with a slow-moving front this weekend will provide scattered showers/storms from time to time. Looking like a summer pattern next with occasional pop-up afternoon storms.
Dew points (the measure of water in the air) will be rising significantly this weekend. When those dew points go into the upper 60s and low 70s, it’s feeling like Florida! Below is the dew point map for this weekend and beyond.
