The next system will bring rain showers and possibly a few thunderstorms late Monday through much of Tuesday. Another slower-moving system will bring more rain Thursday through Saturday morning. Thankfully, severe weather is not expected.
First off, enjoy the cool, calm and clear conditions for today, with highs in the mid-upper 50s. A very light breeze.



Rain will begin to move into Southern Indiana around midnight. Plan on a 100% chance of rain Tuesday – pretty much a washout. Rainfall totals of 1/2″ to 1″ are likely. The rain will taper off Tuesday evening.


Wednesday will be drier, but a few sprinkles will be possible.
A front will stall out over the region will rain chances increasing Thursday afternoon and continuing off and on through Friday. Some showers could linger into Saturday morning. Temperatures will generally stay pretty mild for this time of year.
If you’re looking for winter-like temperatures to return, it looks like that could happen just after Thanksgiving.
