February 7 – Love Is in the Air Valentine’s Event (Jeffersonville)
If you are looking for a way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, head to 1120 Spring Street for the Love Is in the Air Valentine’s Event. This event features food and beverages catered by Southern Lady’s Catering, in-house consultations, sales on all services, and giveaways.
February 8 – Beginner Sourdough Bread Class (Madison)
For those interested in learning how to make sourdough bread, Chillspice is offering a hands-on workshop at 602 West Main Street. This four-hour class will cover everything from maintaining a sourdough starter to shaping and baking a loaf. Participants will also learn about fermentation basics and the techniques needed to bake great sourdough bread at home.
February 8 – 11th Annual Street Stroll (Corydon)
Downtown Corydon will be filled with sweet treats at the 11th Annual Street Stroll. Start by checking in at the Harrison County Discovery Center between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., where you will receive a free event bag and a map of participating businesses. Then, explore downtown while sampling treats from local vendors.
February 8 – Galentine’s Pop-Up (Scottsburg)
This event at Bombshell Beauty Bar & Rejuvenation Skin Care in Scottsburg is a great opportunity to shop, relax, and enjoy time with friends. There will be permanent jewelry, $15 spray tans, boutique shopping with Laura & Co, and several other local vendors.
February 9 – Valentine’s Day Sweet Treats Cookie Decorating Class (New Albany)
For those who enjoy baking and decorating, The Whimsical Cookie is hosting a Valentine’s-themed cookie decorating class at 37 Bank Street. All supplies will be provided, along with a live instructor to guide participants through the process. Whether you are experienced or a beginner, this class is a fun way to spend the afternoon.
February 13 – Charcuterie Sip & Shop (Corydon)
This event at 201 North Capitol Avenue combines charcuterie board-making, wine tasting, and exclusive shopping deals. Participants will learn how to create a charcuterie board and will take home a cutting board along with the charcuterie items included in the class.
