There’s a big buzz about the potential for a weekend winter storm, but it could be a dud. Also, we’re dealing with frigid temperatures all week!
Expect very cold sunshine today with highs in the 20s and much colder wind chills. Winds from the west at 15-30 mph. Lows tonight will dip down to the upper single digits and lower teens. Yikes!

Tuesday will stay very cold and dry.

Wednesday brings a chance of a light wintry mix in the morning through midday. No significant impacts are expected. Less than a tenth of an inch of precipitation.

Now on to this weekend’s storm potential. Right now, the GFS has cold and dry air pushing the system south of our area. The EURO and Canadian models keep the track farther north, but still most of the significant snow potential in Kentucky. What will happen? Time will tell. We’ll continue to update the track and impacts over the next several days. Stay tuned!
