Louisville set a new record snowfall for December 2nd! The old record was 2.7″ set in 2000, today we officially picked up 4.7″. Snowfall amounts have ranged around 2-4″ in most locations.

The snow may stick around a little while with temperatures reaching just above freezing this afternoon, then frigid tonight with lows in the upper teens and low 20s. Watch for refreezing on the roadways tonight.

The rest of this week will be cold and mostly dry. A cold front could bring some flurries on Thursday.
A system could also bring a light wintry mix Sunday into Monday. Brrr!!
