A cold front will be moving through late tonight and will bring a long-term cooler change to our weather pattern.
Ahead of the front, a few showers and thunderstorms will be possible late today into tonight. The severe weather threat is very low, but locally heavy rain, gusty winds, and lightning are possible.

Before the front moves through, it’s just going to be another very hot and humid day.

As the front moves well south tomorrow morning, a northerly breeze will user in cooler temperatures in the mid-upper 80s Wednesday, with a drop in the humidity levels.
A second front will move through Sunday morning with a bigger drop in temperatures and humidity. We could see our coolest temperatures since the first couple days of June, with nighttime temperatures dropping to the 50s early next week!

So, for those of you tired of the summer heat, we have a fall feel to look forward to very soon!
