We have some big weather changes to talk about this week. It starts will showers developing today with highs in the upper 70s. Rain will likely become steadier this afternoon and evening.

Rain will continue through Tuesday with rainfall totals of 1-2″ possible. Thankfully, no severe weather is expected, and this rain will help ease drought conditions around the region.

The rain will clear out by early Wednesday morning and a cooler trend will hang around for the rest of this week. We can expect high temperatures in the 60s and 70s, with lows in the 40s and 50s! More October-like!

So, grab the umbrella for the next couple of days, then we’ll be needing the morning jackets!
Have a great rest of your week. – Meteorologist Ben Peine
