A cold front is moving through the region today with scattered light rain showers and gusty winds. Winds could gust over 30 mph. Temperatures will be warmest this morning in the 40s, then falling to the 30s later today. Flurries likely with colder air tonight into Thursday morning.

The next big story will be our snow accumulation potential for Thursday night into early Friday morning. Right now, it looks like the best chance of snow impacts will be over parts of Southern Indiana and north of I-64 east of Louisville. 1-4″ snowfall totals will be possible, especially for areas north of a line from Paoli, Indiana to Lexington, Kentucky. So, our Friday morning could feature some slick roads. Stay tuned!

Whatever snow we get early Friday won’t last long as we’re expected to be in the lower 40s Friday afternoon.
The coldest air of the season is expected this weekend with lows in the teens and highs in the 20s. Another batch of light snow will be possible late Saturday.
