We’re gradually warming up over the next few days, then gusty rain showers will arrive with a cold front Thursday afternoon.
Today will be partly cloudy and chilly, but feeling better, with highs near 40°. A breeze from the south at 5-15 mph. Not as cold tonight with lows in the 30s, then we’ll make a run at 50° tomorrow.

Here’s a look at today’s weather history, countdown, and silly jokes…

A cold front will bring gusty rain showers to the region Thursday. Right now, the severe weather threat looks very low, with isolated strong wind gusts possible. The Storm Prediction Center has our area under a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5) of severe weather.

Around a half to one inch of rainfall can be expected. Thursday morning is looking mainly dry, with most of the rain and wind coming in the afternoon and evening. A few flurries possible Thursday night as colder air arrives.
A brief shot of cold air Friday, then a cool and quiet weekend. It still looks like we could have a Christmas warm-up with 60s possible.
