A slow-moving front will approach the area and stall out and kick up scattered showers and storms this afternoon and evening, especially for areas along and north of I-64. The severe weather threat is low. Otherwise, today will be warm and a bit breezy, with highs around 80°. Southwest wind at 10-20 mph.
Most areas will be dry by tonight and mild again with lows in the 60s.
Thursday will be very warm and breezy with near record highs yet again. Highs in the 80s with 30-35 mph wind gusts. A few showers possible Friday, but our next widespread chance of showers and storms will arrive with a cold front Saturday afternoon/evening. Then, cooler and dry for Easter Sunday.
