Night of Impact
Sellersburg (extol media) – Gold, Glamour, and Giving was the theme of Ivy Tech Sellersburg’s annual Night of Impact honoring NWSB for their generous contributions to the campus and community. The celebration shines a spotlight on their dedication to opportunity, growth, and the lasting impact of giving back.
Ivy Tech Sellersburg Chancellor Dr. Travis Hair says NWSB has a long history of supporting Southern Indiana’s community,
“Since it’s founding, NWSB, New Washington State Bank has been more than a trusted financial institution, it has been a cornerstone of this community. Families and businesses have looking to them for stability and time and time again they have reinvested that trust back into the people and the community they serve.”

NWSB CEO Pat Daly says he and NWSB President Sid Widlock were overwhelmed when they found out about the Night of Impact award,
“You know one thing we never expect, and that’s being honored for what we do and it’s really profound and we’re really grateful to be able to accept this award tonight.”
Dr. Haire says NWSB funded the newly renovated student atrium in Ivy Tech’s Pfua Hall.

The classy 1920s themed event was held in the middle of Ivy Tech Sellersburg’s Schleicher Family Quad featuring bourbon tasting, a 3-piece band, and ring performers.

If you were unable to attend, but would still like to make a donation, you can do so by visiting https://engage.ivytech.edu/s/giving. For the Designation field, you would select Sellersburg, then Night of Impact.
About NWSB:
“On March 6, 1908, the original New Washington State Bank opened on Main Street in New Washington, IN. The Bank was founded by a group of ten prominent business leaders and farmers who felt New Washington and the surrounding farming communities would be better served with a bank of their own. From our humble beginning in 1908, The New Washington State Bank has added branches in the surrounding communities of Henryville, Charlestown, Borden, Jeffersonville, Sellersburg, Scottsburg, River Ridge, New Albany, and most recently, downtown Jeffersonville on Spring Street. As a local bank, all decisions are made here in Southern Indiana and customers enjoy the personal banking relationships.”
