Hey friends! Hannah here, and I’m so excited to share a lineup of fun, family-friendly events
coming your way as we wrap up May and jump into June. From fossil digs to LEGO builds, basketball
showdowns to kitten showers, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. A huge thanks to Rasmussen

May 26 – Dig Our Collecting Piles!
Get your hands dirty and discover some amazing Silurian fossils! Head out to the Falls of the Ohio
State Park’s relocated collecting piles with your digging tools like a trowel or masonry hammer.
Staff will be on hand to help identify your cool finds. Meet behind the parking lot on the path to
the outdoor classroom for this hands-on adventure.
May 27 – LEGO Creation Afternoon: Summer Inspirations
Celebrate the end of the school year and get into summer mode with a creative LEGO session! All
supplies are provided, so come build your own sunny day masterpieces with the team in Galena. A
perfect event for little builders! Click here to register now!
May 28 – ERA Boys All-Star Game
It’s game time! Catch the top basketball talent in the area battling it out in this high-energy
showdown. There’ll be a dunk contest, 3-point contest, live DJ, and food vendors on-site. Tickets
are $8 at the door – come ready to cheer!
May 28–31 – JTPL Friends Children’s Book Sale
Calling all book lovers! Browse a wide selection of gently used children’s books, DVDs, and more –
all priced at just 25 cents! Bring your own bags or grab one at the sale for $5. All proceeds go to
the Jeffersonville Township Public Library. It’s a great way to stock up for summer reading!
May 31 – Vintage, Antique, & Handmade Market
Shop till you drop at one of Southern Indiana’s best spring markets! Over 150 vendors, delicious
food, a wine bar, and live music await. Early bird tickets (8–10 AM) are $10; general admission (10
AM–5 PM) is $5. Kids under 13 get in free and parking is on the house. Bring cash for tickets at the gate!

June 1 – Itty Bitty Kitty Shower
Cuteness overload! Come meet all of APA’s adoptable kittens in one place. This annual event helps
raise funds and collect supplies for the shelter. Bring donations and enjoy cake, hot dogs, and

June 6- Jeffersonville’s Warder Park Concert Series, Opening Night!
You don’t want to miss the opening night for the Jeffersonville’s Warder Park Concert Series. There
will be beverages and light refreshments available for purchase in the park during the concerts.
Also, this is a free concert!
