Congratulations to Tony and Carol Grantz, who recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. The couple wed April 30, 1966, at Holy Name Church and held their reception at the Peterson-Dumesnil House in Louisville. Half a century later, their children, Melissa Grantz Anderson and David Grantz, hosted an anniversary party at the historic reception venue. What’s the key to marital longevity? “I answer every question with, ‘Yes, dear,’” Tony Grantz cracked. “Actually, we try to stay positive and laugh a lot.”
Tony and Carol (Van Hoozer) Grantz reside in Floyds Knobs, as do their daughter, Melissa, her husband, Monty Anderson, and their two children, Grant and Alex Anderson. Their son, David Grantz, lives in Louisville.
