Want to bring your pooch with you to enjoy the patio at The Exchange Pub + Kitchen? Have a hankering for brunch at Brooklyn and the Butcher? Beginning April 16, you can do both in downtown New Albany.
At 10 a.m. that day, bring your appetite to Brooklyn and the Butcher, and get your fill of savory delights on the debut of their new brunch. Beginning at noon, you and your canine (or canines) are invited to Pooches on the Patio at The Exchange, where Southern Indiana Animal Rescue also will be collecting much-needed items, including leashes, collars, bleach, metal bowls, toys, pee pads, Iams and Purina Pro Plan dog and puppy food.
The Exchange patio is “a pretty special space for people to enjoy,” said Ian Hall, who serves as proprietor at the popular location. “And, it’s always dog friendly. … Obviously, people in this area love to be outdoors. I think it’s just cool when you’re out there on Main Street, and then at night you have the bridge that’s kind of a backdrop out there. This event is like the kick off to spring.”
