THEY MET ON JULY 19, 2014, after Andrea made a post regarding finances and investing, and Jai responded. That led to direct messaging, which culminated in a 2+ hour phone call. For the next six weeks, the couple spoke daily before finally going on their first date on Aug. 29, 2014.
Eventually, Jai proposed by telling Andrea, “I simply couldn’t imagine a life without you.”
The pair wed Aug. 29, 2020, at The Henry Clay in Louisville and were married by Pastor Charles K. Burton Jr. The reception, which was held in the same venue, featured a spirited introduction of the wedding party to “Champagne Life,” an incredibly competitive bouquet toss, and great music and dancing.
Vendors included Ty Lockhart Photography, Chelsea Winters (videographer), Fat Rascal’s Catering, The Louisville Chocolate Foundation, and AJ Reflections (mirror booth).
