Temperatures will be climbing this week, with highs likely reach the upper 80s Tuesday and Wednesday!
Expect sunshine and seasonably warm temperatures in the lower 80s this afternoon, with a light southeast breeze. Some haze is likely again today, from the Canadian wildfire smoke. The map below shows the smoke map this afternoon.

Tonight will be mostly clear and quiet, with a nearly calm wind, lows in the lower 60s.
Our warmest days will be Tuesday and Wednesday, with sunshine and a south breeze pushing temperatures to the upper 80s – the warmest so far this year. Notice, nighttime temperatures getting warmer through the week as well, this is an indication that the humidity will be on the rise day by day.
The next chance of showers and storms will arrive with a slow-moving front late Wednesday through Friday. Some rain chances could linger this weekend, but we’ll fine tune those chances as we get closer.
If you love the summer season, enjoy the weather this week!

Have a great Monday! – Meteorologist Ben Peine
