It’s shaping up to be a wonderful Wednesday throughout Southern Indiana with high temperatures in the low to middle 60s. Thankfully, our winds will be much lighter as well! Mostly clear and a bit chilly tonight with lows in the 40s.

A warm front will lift over the region tomorrow with light rain showers developing Thursday afternoon. Most models only produce around a tenth of an inch of rainfall. Temperatures will be in the 60s, with a light breeze from the southeast.

The big warm-up arrives Friday with highs around 80°. Therefore, the next few days won’t be bad to do some yard work and just get outside and enjoy!
A slow-moving front gets closer to the region late Friday night into Saturday. For now, it appears the best chance for scattered showers and storms will be along and north of I-64, but some of the latest data shoves the more widespread rain chances even farther north of Central Indiana.
This weekend’s forecast is subject to change, but for now, some showers and storms will be possible over Southern Indiana, but it will stay warm. The severe weather threat looks low for our area.
Neither Saturday or Easter Sunday looks like a washout, but we may want to keep an umbrella nearby. Notice on the maps below, the farther north trend for now, however, we still may have to fine tune the weekend rain chances over the next few days.
