We enter Day 6 of the heat wave with another Heat Advisory and heat index values heading over 100° this afternoon. Continue to take care if outdoors, stay hydrated, take breaks, wear light weight, loose fit clothing, and enjoy the A/C as much as possible!

Friday will be very similar, with only a few isolated late afternoon and evening pop-up showers and storms.

Now, Saturday brings a bit of a change, as the high pressure ridge that has kept us mostly dry this week will begin to weaken, this should allow for more numerous showers and storms than we’ve seen recently.
We stay steamy and mostly dry Sunday and Monday in the lower 90s.
A front is expected to move through late Monday night into Tuesday morning with more rain chances, but more importantly, bringing some temperature relief by the middle of next week. Highs drop back to the 80s by Tuesday, July 1st.
