After a little rain Saturday morning, there won’t be much else to talk about for a long time! So, this will likely be the shortest weather story I write up.
September is one of our driest month on average and it could live up to that.
Gradually clearing out and fall-like this afternoon with highs more than 10° below normal in the lower 70s, with a light breeze at 5-10 mph from the northwest. Clear and rather cool tonight in the upper 40s and low 50s.

We’ll likely have our chilliest night since May with lows in the upper 40s Sunday night.
While we will have some summer-like heat returning late next week, the humidity is expected to stay low. Nothing like the muggy weather we had in July and part of August.
So, it’s good we got some recent rain, because it’s prolonged dry spell ahead, for at least the next week.

Have a great weekend! -Meteorologist Ben Peine
