Heat Advisories continue through Wednesday, but a cool front will be moving through Thursday bringing pleasant changes to the region for this weekend!
For now, continue to do what you can do to beat the heat. Remember, to always check the backseat, look before you lock. Never leave children or pets locked in a hot car.

Today’s forecast is simply super hot, humid, and mainly dry. High of 94°, with the heat index over 100°. A light breeze from the north with a Very High UV Index of 9. The weather models really aren’t picking up on anything today or tomorrow, so expect most areas to stay dry.

The Canadian front will be moving slowly through the area Thursday with spotty showers and storms. The humidity levels will likely still be high Thursday, but much lower for Friday and Saturday. Expecting highs in the lower 80s and cooler nights.

Hope the rest of your week goes great! – Meteorologist Ben Peine
