We have a wild stretch of weather over the next 24-hours!
Ahead of a strong cold front it will be windy and warm through this afternoon with record highs in the 70s (old record: 70°, set in 2021).
The cold front will bring a thin line of showers and storms with strong to severe wind gusts possible. A very small chance of a weak, quick, spin-up tornado, especially just to our west. There is a Slight Risk of Severe Storms up near Bedford, Indiana, but most of our area is in a Marginal Risk (Level 1 of 5). The line of storms will move through our region generally from 8 PM until 11 PM. While the severe risk is low, localized damaging wind gusts will be possible.
A WIND ADVISORY from 6 PM Sunday evening until 7 AM Monday morning, with 45+ mph wind gusts will be possible.

Temperatures will be tumbling behind the cold front overnight with lows in the 20s, and wind chills in the teens. It will feel about 50-degrees colder Monday.

The rest of the week looks quiet, chilly, and mainly dry as we finish up 2025 and ring in the New Year.
