A more tropical feel is on the way with the humidity on the rise for our Father’s Day Weekend. We’ll also have a slow-moving upper-level system bringing occasional pop-up showers and thunderstorms.
Today will be mainly dry, partly sunny, a bit more humid and very warm/hot with highs in the upper 80s. A very light south breeze at 5 mph.
Tonight will be humid with an isolated shower possible.

Dew points (measure of water content) are on the rise heading into the weekend, so our atmosphere will have a Florida feel through Father’s Day Weekend.
While a shower or storm will be possible during the first half of Friday, the rain chances increase late afternoon into the evening.

A slow-moving system will help kick-up occasional pop-up showers and storms Saturday and Sunday, especially during the afternoon and evening. While sluggish heavy downpours will be possible, the severe weather threat will stay very low.
The summer pattern continues through next week with pop-up showers and storms possible from time to time.
Summer officially begins next Friday, June 20th.
