This is our last day with a Heat Advisory, as a cool front will bring changes Thursday.
Expect highs again in the 90s this afternoon with the heat index will over 100°. Keep doing what you’ve doing to keep as cool as possible.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely to spark up across the region as a cool front begins to move in Thursday afternoon. Thankfully, no severe weather is expected, but locally heavy rain and lightning are possible.

Once the front moves south early Friday, dew points (moisture) will be dropping quickly bringing refreshing air to Southern Indiana for this weekend. Dew points have been tropical in the 70s, but will fall to the 50s and 60s, and you will certainly notice the pleasant difference Friday.

After this weekend, typical summertime warmth and humidity returns, but not excessive early next week.
Hope you can get out and enjoy the nice changes on the way this weekend!
