I really appreciate those of you who took the time to respond to my previous editor letter. I began working on a follow-up, and then something strange happened: I fell asleep for what seemed like the better part of two months. I’m finally feeling like myself again, and – thankfully – I now know why I felt like I’d been living in a fog for so many weeks. For this issue, I interviewed Providence High School senior and talented photographer Evan Rivard (page 48), who wisely noted, “A picture can describe a situation better than some words can.” He’s right, which is why I’m limiting my words this issue to let the photo of my husband tell the story.
As always, thank you for taking the time to read Extol.

Truly,
Angie Fenton
