The Boys & Girls Club of Kentuckiana hosted an even on April 28, Superhero Day, recognizing the local heroes of Kentuckiana. Firefighters and Police officers were invited for pizza and snacks with the local after school organization. The theme was larger than life comic book superheroes, like Batman (who is definitely better than Superman), but intended to contextualize the role of everyday heroes in the community.
