NEW ALBANY, Ind. – Six local nonprofit organizations were awarded $52,500 in funding thanks to two separate grant programs of the Community Foundation of Southern Indiana (CFSI).
The Foundation’s Capacity Building and Community Assist grant programs support nonprofit organizations serving residents in Clark and Floyd counties. The Capacity Building Grant Program focuses on improving organizations’ operating capacity, while Community Assist Grants support a program or activity that will positively impact the lives of people living in Southern Indiana.
In all, six grants totaling $52,500 were awarded to Kentuckiana nonprofits.
“We’ve seen firsthand how our quarterly grant programs truly make a difference for local organizations. By allowing them to apply for funding when they need it, we’re able to provide ongoing support throughout the year,” said Linda Speed, CFSI President and CEO. “This not only helps these groups achieve their goals but also allows us to stay true to our mission and make a real impact in the community. Together, we’re making life better for everyone in our region.”
Two Capacity Building Grants were awarded, totaling $37,500. Recipients include:
- Arts Alliance of Southern Indiana: Support the enhancement of organization’s administrative systems and operations ($25,000)
