Your Community Bank Names Syd Whitlock Regional President for Clark and Scott Counties of Indiana

NEW ALBANY, Ind. (August 31, 2015) – Your Community Bank, a subsidiary of Your Community Bankshares, Inc. (NASDAQ:YCB), has named Syd Whitlock as Regional President for Clark and Scott Counties in Indiana. Whitlock will be responsible for the development and management of bank’s Business Services and Treasury Management units in those counties.

Previously, Whitlock served as President and CEO at The Scott County State Bank. Whitlock has more than 15 years banking experience having begun his career at Your Community Bank, moving from branch manager to Vice President of Retail. In January 2007, he was named President and CEO of The Scott County State Bank and served in that position until The Scott County State Bank and Your Community Bank merger.

Whitlock is president of the Greater Scott County Chamber of Commerce, and a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast Indiana.
